TL;DR: Cancel before we submit your filing to the state and you get 100% of everything back. After submission, state fees are gone (the state keeps them) and our service fee is earned — but unused add-ons are refundable for 30 days, and honest mistakes reported within 24 hours get half the service fee back even after filing.
Before we submit to the state: full refund, no questions
Cancel for any reason before your filing is submitted to the state and we refund every dollar — service fee, state fee, and add-ons. One thing to know: we file fast. Expedited orders are submitted the same business day, and standard orders typically within 1–4 business days (the timeframe shown at checkout) — sometimes as soon as one business day once your order reaches our processing queue. If you change your mind, contact us right away.
After we submit: what's refundable
Once your filing is with the state, the state filing fee is out of our hands and non-refundable, and our service fee is earned. One exception: if you tell us within 24 hours of purchase that the order was a mistake, we'll refund 50% of the service fee even if we already filed.
Add-ons you haven't used are always refundable (30 days)
Any add-on we haven't performed yet is refundable on its own, without cancelling your LLC order: the EIN service before we submit Form SS-4 to the IRS, an operating agreement before delivery, a certified copy before we order it, and a BOI report before we file it. Just ask.
If your filing is rejected or can't be filed
If the state rejects your filing for something we can fix, we fix it and re-file free. If it needs your input (like a new business name) and you'd rather not continue, we refund the service fee, any unused add-ons, and whatever the state returns to us. If we couldn't submit your filing at all, you get 100% back.
Registered Agent subscription
The Registered Agent service is $192/year and renews automatically. We email you reminders before each renewal — cancel before the renewal date and you pay nothing further. After the service is active (or after a renewal charge), cancelling gets you a prorated refund of the unused time minus a $49 cancellation fee. You'll also need to appoint a new registered agent with your state (the state's Change of Registered Agent filing and fee are your responsibility).
Expedited orders
If you paid for expedited processing and we don't submit your filing the same business day (or the next business day for orders placed outside business hours), contact us and we'll refund the difference between expedited and standard pricing.
Timing
We decide refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method and typically appear in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. You'll get a confirmation email the moment a refund is issued. Refund requests must be made within 6 months of the charge.
