How do I see mail my Registered Agent received?
If FormationHub is your Registered Agent, mail we receive for your business is scanned and added to your portal Mailbox — usually within 1 business day of arrival.
Where to find your mail
Sign in at https://www.formationhub.com/member/login
Click the business name in the top-left dropdown if you have multiple businesses
Click Mailbox in the left sidebar (or visit
/member/dashboard/mailboxdirectly)
Each piece of mail in the list shows the date it was received, a short description, the sender (when we have one on file), and whether you've viewed it yet. Click a piece to open it — you'll see the full scan (preview it inline or download the PDF) along with the category our team assigned when they added it: Legal, Tax, Government, Marketing, or Other.
You'll get an email notification when new mail is added to your Mailbox.
How fast is scanning?
Mail arrives at our registered agent office Monday-Friday. Our team scans and uploads it to your portal as quickly as we can, typically within 1 business day of arrival.
What about marketing mail?
Anything addressed to your business gets uploaded to your Mailbox and tagged with a category so you can tell at a glance what it is — including a Marketing tag for flyers, offers, and similar low-priority mail. We don't currently offer a setting to hide or filter out any category; everything we scan shows up in the same list.
What we do with legal mail
If a process server arrives with a lawsuit or court summons, accepting and signing for it on your behalf is our core job as your Registered Agent. Our team scans and uploads it to your Mailbox and you'll get an email notification as soon as it's added.
What if I missed important mail?
Open a chat or email [email protected] and we'll check our intake log to see what arrived for your business.
Most of the time when customers think they missed mail, the issue is one of these: - Email notifications going to spam — whitelist [email protected], our notification sender - Multiple businesses under the same account, and the wrong one is selected in the dropdown
Sharing access with your accountant or lawyer
We don't have a shared-access or sub-user feature yet. For now, the safest option is to download the PDF from your Mailbox and forward it by email. Please don't share your own portal login with anyone else — if your accountant or lawyer needs their own login, contact support and we'll help.
Privacy and security
Mail scans are encrypted at rest in our cloud storage
Only you (the account holder) and authorized FormationHub staff can access your scans
We never sell or share customer mail data with third parties
Common questions
"Does anything happen to my mail if I don't check the portal for a while?"
No — your scans stay in your Mailbox and remain available as long as you have an active Registered Agent subscription with us.
"What about FedEx, UPS, or certified mail?"
We accept mail and packages from USPS, FedEx, UPS, and certified mail — they're scanned and added to your Mailbox the same way as regular mail.
"What happens to my Mailbox if I cancel my Registered Agent service?"
Your Mailbox is part of the Registered Agent service, so it's only available while your subscription is active. Download anything you need before you cancel — once the subscription ends, you'll lose portal access to it.
